Who we are

The A and the B.

A&B Hub is Alexis Beraldo and André Bueno. Friends for many years, both of us have spent most of our careers building for the web — separately, inside other people's companies.

We started this to work together, and because an opportunity came up in the United States and we decided to take it. No investors, no layer of account managers.

We are based in Brazil and we work with American businesses on Eastern Time. Between us we cover every discipline on this page, and on a few of them one of us goes deeper than the other. The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it, and you will not be handed off to someone you have never spoken to.

Partnership

Someone on the ground in the DC metro.

We work with Vfonseca Engineering, a U.S. technology firm serving Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland. They cover what has to happen inside the building — networks, WiFi, cameras, backup internet — and contract engineering down to embedded hardware and RF.

We cover what happens on the web. Between the two, a small business in the DMV can have the wiring in the walls and the site in front of customers handled by people who actually talk to each other.

We say on this page that we are based in Brazil. This is how that stays honest: when a job needs someone physically present, there is someone — a named company you can go and check, not a local address we invented.

Questions

Straight answers, before you ask.

The questions we get on every first call, answered the way we would answer them on the phone.

How much does a new website cost?

Most small-business websites land between $3,000 and $8,000, depending on page count and whether you need e-commerce or custom functionality. A single landing page costs less; a system with accounts and permissions costs more. For reference, U.S. agencies typically start around $4,000–$6,000 for the same scope. You get one fixed number before any work starts — we do not bill by the hour, and there is no change-order game.

How long does it take to build a website?

Four to six weeks from kickoff for a standard business website, including migration, design, and launch. Landing pages ship faster; e-commerce and custom systems take longer. That is at the quick end of the U.S. market, where agency builds commonly run six to twelve weeks. The schedule depends on getting content, access, and approvals from you on time — we tell you exactly what we need and when.

Do I have to move off WordPress?

No. We keep WordPress as your CMS — same admin, same login, no retraining — and rebuild only the front end. Your site is then served as static files from a global CDN, so it loads fast and stays up even when the WordPress host does not.

Will I lose my Google rankings if you rebuild the site?

No, provided the migration is done properly. Every existing URL is either kept or given a 301 redirect, verified page by page against a full inventory before launch. Rankings typically improve after a rebuild because the technical problems holding them back get fixed.

Where is A&B Hub based, and do you work with U.S. clients?

We are based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and we work with small businesses across the United States, starting in Maryland and the Washington DC metro area. Work happens over email, calls, and a staging URL you can open on your phone at any time. We keep Eastern Time hours.

What is the difference between SEO, AEO, and GEO?

They are three layers of the same goal: SEO gets you into Google’s ranked results, AEO gets you into the answer box above them, and GEO gets you cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. All three matter now, because a growing share of customers get one recommended answer instead of ten blue links — and being absent from that answer is being invisible. We treat them as one engagement, because they rest on the same work: clean structure, correct schema, and content written to be quoted.

Do you handle Google Ads and paid traffic?

Yes, as a separate engagement from the build. We run Google and Meta campaigns with a defined monthly budget and a report that shows what each dollar returned. Management is a monthly fee, separate from the ad spend you pay the platform directly — the U.S. norm is 10–20% of spend. We will tell you plainly if paid traffic is the wrong move for your business right now.

How much do the monthly services cost?

Ongoing search and AI work generally runs between $750 and $2,500 a month, scaled to how many locations and services you need covered. U.S. SEO retainers commonly sit between $1,500 and $3,200 a month, so this is at the accessible end without cutting the work. Everything is month to month and cancels on 30 days’ notice — there is no annual lock-in.

What happens after the site launches?

You own the site outright and owe nothing further. If you want us to keep growing it, we offer an optional month-to-month partnership covering hosting, monitoring, security patching, new content, local rank tracking, and monthly AI answer monitoring. It cancels on 30 days’ notice.

Let’s talk about your project.
